3DFinal 1

3dFinal 2

Summary:

For my 3D animation class final project, we had to create a 30 second animation of two characters interacting with an object. I wanted to use lighting effects, and mesh editing for my animation. Modeling was fairly smooth, the animation movements had to be precise. They needed to happen at certain times with certain other objects. The camera was also tricky, but it did turn out really well in the end.

The rendering experience was the best part about this project. It had to be rendered at the standard 640 x 480 30fps. I choose to practice using the backburner feature of 3D Studio Max. Setting up the render servers at school on 6 computers was really fun. Due to the nature of the schools network, it did not actually finish the render, so I finished it a different way. Just seeing how that worked was a nice learning experience.
