| Summary: US Micro Lab is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of electronic computer parts. Founded in 1993, they are competitively priced and are unlike any other brand. Their current website is very crowded and busy, it makes it confusing to look at and distracts visitors from their products. My two new website designs put the focus on their products. It also is easy to look at and has a smooth simple transition from each section of the page. In Re-Design #1, The design was taken a little step further than common websites. The logo and image of the UML company building were left in the same spot. The navigation was all chained together in the nice little quarter circle around the logo of UML. The news and content is separated. A line similar to the one used for the navigation is wrapped around them, creating a visual path for the user to follow. In Re-Design #2, The choice to use common tabs, nothing to fancy was so no visitor had to figure out a brand new way of navigating the Website. The visitors have seen tabs before and know what they do, so there will be no confusion at all. Visitors will notice a big distinction between the news and content, allowing them to choose where to go next, without having to search. Current Website:
